VEX VRC, short for VEX Robotics Competition, is a global platform that challenges students to design, build, and compete with robots. It provides a unique opportunity for young minds to explore the world of STEM (Science, Technology, Engineering, and Mathematics) while fostering teamwork, problem-solving skills, and creativity.Each season, the organization introduces a new game challenge, allowing teams to build and design robots that can complete specific objectives. Students compete against each other at the regional, state, and international levels.

Ignite Robotics offers a comprehensive range of educational initiatives and resources geared towards fostering STEM exploration among students. From introductory classes and personalized training for all ages to competitive coaching and resources for competition teams, Ignite Robotics has something for all ages and interest levels. With a commitment to STEM outreach and community building, Ignite Robotics hosts classes, workshops, and mentorship programs, creating a collaborative environment for students and mentors, including our alumni!

Ignite Robotics hosts Exothermic and Blaze Robotics to provide spaces for students elementary through high school to compete. Each VRC competition season kicks off in late summer or early fall, but registration is open as early as spring of the previous year! You can learn more at our Blaze or Exothermic specific pages.

Due to the high number of interested students we receive each year, we do registrations for teams off of a waitlist, giving priority to current students and incoming students who already have a team within our organization. Each year, the waitlist will open to the public in mid to late spring.
