A six week seminar series with lab project to build competitive team student skills. 1.5 hours a week of structured lab/activity time, with 1 hour of proctored build time, open access to lab for additional build time for the students.
This course is designed to not only strengthen build expertise, but introduce students to coding and reinforce competition skills like note booking and interview preparation. The students will maintain an engineering notebook throughout the course that will be judged using the actual V5RC judging rubric.
Make-up sessions can be coordinated with the instructor as needed, and additional sections of this course may be opened depending on demand.
When: Friday, 4-5:30pm, Weekly from March 20-May 8th (No sessions Apr 24th and May 1st due to VEX World Championship)
Where: Blaze Bellevue Lab (1910 132nd Ave NE, Bellevue)
Who: 6th - 12th graders with VEX V5 Robotics Experience, this course is intended for students who have participated in at least 1 competition season before
